Sadly enough it's all burned now and temporary closed.

This a lovely hike, even on the hottest of days. The trail meanders along the creek for most of the way so it keeps things lush and green and smells so good. There is one short steep section and some cute falls to enjoy about halfway up. I try and do this hike at least once a year on my way to or from other destinations.

It was so much fun with my family. The kids liked the steeper parts. But if you have little ones, be safe in these areas.

Great little hike through mature forest. The top side is fairly steep with switchbacks. The low side is fairly flat along the river. There are waterfalls and foot bridges that cross the creek. Worth doing more than once.

A beautiful trail system following Bear (Hiuihill) Creek in Tsútswecw Provincial Park (formerly Roderick Haig-Brown). The trail features 5 footbridges and several waterfalls in the cool cedar forest. The northern section of the loop follows the historic flumes, which were used from 1912-1925 to transport logs down to the Adams River. Remains of the flumes can be observed and a small reconstructed section can be walked along as part of the trail. Interpretive signs are provided, detailing the history. Most of the trail is easy and suitable for children, however there are a few steeper sections.

You can see the flumes from the Adams lake fires and feel the heat and smoke. A great experience provided by leaving a fire for a month before attacking it.
