Overall, it's a nice trail for hiking, dog walking, and cycling. But don't expect anything special. There's one main path that runs almost the entire length of the park, and a couple of offshoots. And there are some benches here time to time to seat and rest.
The trail has several exits to the parking lots, that is very comfortable.

The trail head has some parking, not a lot, but I suspect you could park nearby if it was busy. It was very quiet when I visited, but timing is key. There is a junior high very close to the parking area, and if you are leaving around three o'clock, you could have traffic issues. The trail is very well maintained, quiet, and serene. No traffic noise, lots of squirrels, and chipmunks bumming for nuts and just a beautiful walk. The first section is a relatively steep downhill, but it levels out by the lake and easier from there. Just remember you have to come back up! I cut it short this day but look forward to exploring more of the trails.

This is truly a gem of a trail in the Sackville area! Starting at Armcrest Loop and travelling 4 km along second Lake up to the parking lot at the 4km mark. Crossing 1st Lake Drive and Continuing along first Lake another 2.5 km ending at the Sackville Sports Stadium on Glendale Dr. A community treasure for sure! You can walk it, jog it, Run it, Bike it, whatever you're able to do through gorgeous wooded mature treed trails along pristine Lakes, with multiple rest spot with benches approximately every 800m or less. With Bridges and Shoreline walks that are simply breathtaking in the early morning hours and again in the evening hours! Cannot wait for them to connect this to the Waverly Trail and further to that, the Burnside Trail and Dartmouth Trail all connected, it will be great! Get out and experience it.

The first part of the trail almost 500 m is a steep incline which isn't a problem going down but if you are not used to exercise regularly, like me, you might have a problem coming back up. But the lakeside trail is very beautiful.
If any bikers do see this, just want to request to either make people aware if they are speeding downhill or please slow down ... we had a close encounter, all safe, but don't want to imagine if there had been a collision ...
