No car? No problem! 🚐🌿
I’ve been wanting to visit Salt Spring Island for a while, but everyone said it’s better with a car. Luckily, we found the perfect solution — a hop-on, hop-off tour! 🙌

We booked the 11am–5pm route with @saltspringhoponhopoff and had the best time exploring this beautiful island. 🏞️✨

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill island escape.

A few tips if you’re planning to go:
🚍 Bring cash for the bus — the BC Transit app isn’t working.
📵 Don’t expect much signal — no screen time, and honestly, I loved it.
🛍️ We arrived early and got to explore the Saturday Market before the tour. Highly recommend making time for it, because by 5pm it’s mostly wrapped up.
ℹ️ The Visitor Centre (near the bus stop) has updated schedules for buses and ferries — super helpful, so make that your first stop!

We booked the 10 passenger bus VERY last minute private charter transportation to and from a wedding on Salt Spring Island this weekend. Though I don't recommend this approach, we were delighted it worked out.

Elton made my clients wedding day an absolute dream. He was always on hand to answer any questions, which made organizing transportation for almost 100 guests easy and manageable. My husband and I flew into Salt Spring without a car so we were a bit stuck on how to get around until a friend told us about Salt Spring Hop On Hop Off. Best tip ever! We ended up seeing almost everything we wanted.

The real MVP? Our driver, Elton. He was everything. Super knowledgeable, totally hilarious and just brought the whole experience to life. Honestly, he was the cherry on top of our trip.

Highly recommend Hop On Hop Off (10/10). And if you get Elton as your driver? Jackpot. 15/10, no question!

Such a great way to see a portion of the island while also enjoying some of the local hot spots. Scott our driver was very informative along the way telling us more about the island. Great for both solo and group trips, I highly recommend doing the tour and enjoying a relaxing trip on the island

Amazing way to explore the unique spots of Salt Spring Island without a car! Our driver Scott was really kind and provided interesting facts about the island and its history. The hour long stay at every location is perfect timing but if you feel like staying longer it’s possible to catch the next pickup time an hour later. Will totally do again!
