Enjoyable stay here. Hotel has an eclectic/bohemian feel in its decoration which we enjoyed. Both hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for a 3* hotel. Looking out of the shuttered windows of the room makes you feel like a local. Car parking at a subsidised rate at the local Indigo multistorey worked fine. Would happily return here.

Had high expectations due to great reviews but was a little disappointed. Room was very small as expected. Wall paper was a bit tired. Odd noise from we are not sure what was bothersome. Bike parking was very tight and difficult to access. Also it is an uncovered outdoor space near the garbage. Of course it rained.

The Hotel du Cygne could not have been more perfect. The proprietors were charming as well as the decor. The fact that the establishment was dog friendly was an added bonus. Any question was answered. They offered a refrigerator to store my dog's food. I wholeheartedly recommend making this Hotel your base in the Loire Valley, and make day trips to the neighboring Chateaux. The train station is an easy 7 minute walk from the hotel. The nearby street offers a plethora of international cuisine, as well as a grocery and Laundromat.

Friendly stylish hotel run by a lovely couple, comfortable room... all the rooms were very individual. Nice breakfast, and a lovely courtyard garden to sit out in. Its situated on a quiet round and is all round a great spot and we will return!

Recently, I stayed here for a few nights, we booked one of the larger rooms.
The was quite large and came with 1 toilet, separate bath/shower room and 2 small balconies.
The interior decor of the entire hotel was very stylish in a retro-funky vibe 👌
The guys that run the place were very friendly.
Location- approx 50m off the main street for eating out and wine bars (non tourist traps)
All in a very nice bouquit hotel and good value.

Eclectic small hotel in a great location. Over a dozen restaurants within a block or two. Parking is a bit tough, as it always in the center of Tours. Easy walk to Place Plumereau with the huge square surrounded by restaurants and shops as well as other city center attractions. Nice owners. Perfect for my wife and I while we visited Loire valley wineries and chateaus. View from window below
