An unforgettable experience! Visiting the Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre was one of the highlights of our trip. The forest itself is absolutely stunning — peaceful, well-maintained trails surrounded by nature at its best. The Wolf Centre is beautifully designed, offering an up-close yet respectful look at the wolves in their natural environment. The staff is knowledgeable, passionate, and truly dedicated to conservation and education.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the interactive exhibits, and, of course, getting a glimpse of the wolves. Whether you're a nature lover, a family looking for an educational outing, or just wanting a serene escape, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Extremely educational place to go! The staff are very passionate about their workplace, with good reason. There is an observation area to see the wolves, exhibits showing various wildlife, some of which you might not ever see live, and a short movie/video you can request to watch in their in-house theatre. The giftshop is very reasonably priced and has a little something for all age ranges.

They encourage people to call ahead to ask if the wolves are out in view beforehand, which I think is a great idea.

This was our sixth visit to this site, and it won't be our last.

Didn't get to see much the day & time we went but it's not super expensive. $15. The front also gave us option to go in or knowing they hadn't seen much of the wolves that day so she did let us know. We did end up seeing one at a distance. Museum is not huge but interesting. Small , quaint place to do a short visit.
Wolves raised as natural as possible and keep their natural behaviours which is great. Staff is very knowledgeable.

I didn’t get to take pictures of the reserve but they have a lot of different activity options ranging from fishing, the wolf reserve which I recommend visiting and are sports etc. The store has merchandise like stickers, hoodies, honey and maple syrup, they also have camping equipment like fire burners etc. I recommend stopping by to visit the wolf reserve and other activities. The staff at the office is very helpful and sweet as well.
