trailhead is a small parking lot big enough for a handful of cars. it’s a short walk down to the creek. very cool rock formations and fast rushing water. nice spot to stop and swim or just dip your feet. lots of private property around the area so be respectful.

You can access the trail that leads to high falls here. It's a decent sized parking lot. The hike itself is fantastic. Many changes in elevation, there is a creek crossing with a rope. Was a nice little adventure. The falls themselves were stunning and the water was so clean. We enjoyed several hours here. Hiking, swimming and having a picnic.

Absolutely stunning location and crown land! The waterfall is beautiful!! I came here for a hike and then to camp for 4 days. I learned that I order to take the easier route you gotta go on the trail that takes the ridge (the right side). I saw alot of people say to keep the water to the left of you but if you do, it will lead you eventually through really muddy paths.(i sunk to my knee). And then you have to scale vertically up rocks. So be careful to follow the markers but stay on the ridge as much as possible after you cross the tree over the creek. Over all its a hard hike anyways but it's worth it and make sure to wear proper ankle supported shoes. Oh and be careful to tuck your pants into your socks and your shirt into your pants. I saw 3 ticks that were adult female blacklegged ticks. Oh and please stop leaving your garbage! I cleaned up a big area where I camped cause someone left garbage everywhere! Please be a responsible hiker/camper and leave the place how you found it or better yet, better than how you found it. And theres a few grbage cans at the parking lot. Just carry your garbage out with you. Oh and during the week the parking lot is pretty empty. On weekends however it gets packed! Overall it's so worth the hike and camping if free. Highly recommend this place

I spent time here many years ago with some of the best people on the planet, and then got back with my son a couple years ago, just for a very quick jog. We got most of the way to the falls and then had to hurry back as our driver and family weren't actually there for this trail, but rather to check out the petroglyphs information center and trails. Note the trail can get quite flooded in the spring and there is a slightly difficult log crossing (bring a long walking stick).

Have been here a few times, in spring, summer and fall, and it’s beautiful any time of the year. I will say the bugs were awful mid summer but that’s to be expected. I have a bug net pull over shirt which helps a ton. Beautiful views the whole way, varying terrain from forest floor, scaling rock, rivers edge, and of course the waterfall. Kids can do this trail if the family is somewhat experienced with hiking. People crown land camp along the trail so you may run into some campers. Definitely suggest having the All Trails app and sticking to the map as it’s easy to veer off trail and get lost. My favourite hiking spot and can’t wait to return this year!

Eels creek is a fantastic place to take your kayak or canoe. There are plenty of trails to walk, and lots of forest and open areas with exposed granite to explore. Also a great place to camp, with plenty of already set up campsites around and a garbage bin in the parking lot. Ive only been here a few times but I'll be visiting for many years I think.

Great trail and the falls are beautiful. There are to parts of the trail that are flooded and required walking through waist deep water. I believe this is only during the spring. In some areas the trail is less noticeable so download the map to your phone. There is phone service all the way to the falls but data is quite slow. Amazing scenery and a place we will be visiting again for sure.

Very peaceful, but rugged trail. Depending on the path you take, be prepared for crossing rivers without a real bridge.

Good amount of wildlife in the area, with lots of birds in the tree tops. Saw evidence of deer, and of coyotes/wolves.
