Great meal last night at Coastal Del Mar!

Savannah was on point all night with her service, the bartender crafted some amazing cocktails and the kitchen staff hit the mark on our meals. Can’t ask for a better experience!

Highly recommend this restaurant 10/10. A customer of mine, referred me here after I mentioned that majority of Spanish Springs restaurants and surrounding area are not that delicious and their response was for me to try this place.

I was first greeted by Melissa. What a gem she is. Every business needs a Melissa. I heard her conversing, with other staff and you could tell her energy was great and she spoke in a manner of respect for everyone and making sure each server was getting the same amount tables.

I came by myself and sat at the bar. Wesley was great. I ordered a chicken Ceaser wrap. OMG it was delicious. Very few restaurants make a chicken Ceaser wrap the way I love it and man they got me with that “Can’t eat, Can’t sleep…. World Series, kind of love” for this wrap. So much so, I went back the next day and had it for lunch. I mean the chicken is incredibly flavorful and hot, the dressing is delicious, not too much but not dry either, and then the wrap yum they press it so everything is nice and hot. I also appreciate that they don’t add other stuff to it like tomatoes. I ended my meal with an espresso shot. It’s certainly worth it. Delicious and it was smooth. I only drink espresso and this is by far better than most coffee places. I loved the cute sugar cups with it.

On my second visit, for the life of me, I can’t remember my server. She was amazing and kind. I brought my toddler with me this time. She didn’t care for the kid’s burger but she’s 2 so that could be why. I order the chicken Ceaser wrap again and it was just as great the day before.

I also noticed the managers were well dressed and attentive to staff, customers, and even cleaning tables off.

When I left, even though Melissa was busy with a manager, she made sure to stop and look up at me and ask me how everything was and that she hopes we return. That kind of stuff like that makes people feel seen and appreciated.

Overall, I will be back time and time again. Their lunch prices are very well priced. I plan to take my family here for dinner. I am looking forward to trying some calamari and lobster. I will update my review when I try these items. Definitely try this place and make a reservation.

The only thing tasty about was the cocktail. The I ordered the tuna appetizer which was completely flavorless; the sister restaurant, Chop House, has a great tune appetizer with avocado and mango. I also had the oysters Rockefeller, which were so fishy I couldn't swallow it. The decor is pretty, although I think they should lower the lights a little for dinner.

The shrimp and grits had spinach in it so I had to try it out. The presentation on the plate was busy I had to hunt for my shrimps, but it tasted okay. The fried fish was delicious. Next time I will do brunch instead of the dinner menu.

Great spot with a lot of options. Hard to find a real seafood restaurant in this area and this is it. I would work some local catch specials in myself. Great service, my only gripe was the portion size. Definitely will be coming back to try some different dishes. Had the calamari, shrimp avocado bowl and chocolate creme brulee, all seasoned perfectly

Gorgeous little locally owned Seafood restaurant. A little upscale. The staff were amazing. Everyone was friendly with a big smile. The scenery was nice with natural colors and saltwater decor. The food was priced very reasonably. The portion sizes were much smaller than comparable restaurants, but the prices reflected the difference. The drinks were well prepared and suggested by the staff. The crab stuffed shrimp was good, but it tasted almost commercialized, and the alfredo sauce didn't pair well with it, in my opinion. The fried rice was a bit too lemony for our liking. The asparagus and creamed spinach were cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a nice dinner but not sure I'd recommend it as the best place around.

Lunch turned out to be a success despite an unpromising start, with absentee staff at the hostess stand and disregard from wait staff and bartenders for an extended period until we were finally seated. The Fried Shrimp entrée, accompanied by Coleslaw and seasoned French Fries, was particularly flavorful. The Crab Cakes, served with Dirty Rice and Steamed Asparagus, were also full of flavor, featuring a crab cake that consisted of more crab than filler. Dessert was a true Key Lime Pie, not the fake kind you get in so many restaurants. We were not disappointed!

This was our first visit. I must say the food was excellent. We were there at lunch time on a Friday and it was not crowded. However when we left there were people waiting for a table.

All the staff were really nice and very welcoming. They actually made a point of greeting you as you walked by, even if they weren't your hostess or server. A senior staff member stopped by and asked how everything was.

The restaurant was very clean and the food was priced fairly. My husband got the trout and I got the chicken Kiev and both were very tasty. We were also given warm rolls with butter which was nice.

The decor was nice also. However, one thing I would point out is that the booths are tight. Our booth was set for four people, though there was only two of us and we could tell that two more people of our size would not be able to fit. Well we would have but it would not have been with enough elbow room to eat comfortably. If you are small or petite or very thin, it will be fine to dine with four people at the booth. Otherwise I would recommend getting a table.

My husband is very tall and he kept bumping into me and it was a little bit difficult getting in and out of the booths due to the size of the table compared to the booth. Also, the table costs are rather long and we kept dragging the tablecloth with us when we got up to use the restroom or when we left.

Otherwise it's definitely a place we would go back to. The only issue we had with food was that the carrots were barely warm. Everything else was cooked to the proper temperature.

And service was top notch. We had a very attentive waiter that also seemed genuinely appreciative of Us patronizing the establishment.
