Five Stars All the Way!

We recently brought our work van into Bidget Brake and Muffler on Dawson Street, and I can honestly say, this place is a gem. We had the brakes serviced over a year ago and just wanted to have them checked to make sure everything was still in good shape. We dealt with Bob and Rob, and both of them were incredibly professional, friendly, and most of all—honest.

After taking a thorough look at the van, they gave me a call to say that everything was still in great condition and we wouldn’t need to worry about it for at least another six months. Here’s the kicker—they didn’t even charge us for the inspection. In a world where surprise fees are all too common, that level of integrity is rare.

It’s refreshing to deal with mechanics who clearly care more about long-term relationships than a quick buck. These guys have officially earned our business going forward—we’ve found our go-to shop for the long haul.

A couple of years a go, they tried to sell me a truck battery for $700
and today they charged me twice for refrigerant for my truck, first unit was 29.95 and the second one was 39.99.
Sidney was very helpful and the technician was willing to answer my questions.

I made an appointment with Port Moody Budget Brake. I arrived at the designated time and a mechanic immediately drove the truck onto the hoist. The repair was completed very efficiently and even the tire pressure was checked, The staff were all efficient and friendly. Full auto repair facility.

I recently went in for an oil and filter change. The invoice stated they used a “Fram Ultra xg6607” oil filter. A couple days later upon closer inspection I discovered that they actually used a cheaper, lower quality filter (a Fram Extra ph6607). Now, I also paid more for their premium motor oil, but based on the oil filter discrepancy who knows what they actually put in my car? I definitely won’t be going back.

My husband was in the area during a cross province trip for a funeral when his vehicle started to wobble at higher speeds. They managed to get his truck squeezed in to determine the issue right away so he could get back on the road home to Alberta. Adam and his team of experts in Coquitlam, have fixed so many aspects of my car, from transmission, to air-conditioning ...not to mention tires battery. I love my 2004 Chrysler Concorde!!! It's such a comfortable and pleasant car to drive (Adam says it's like driving a comfy couch), but they are complicated and very difficult vehicles to work on. This costs more in parts (that always has to come from the USA), and more time consuming to repair. Adam has spent hours of extra labour he did not charge me for, due to the extensive and costly repairs I have had done in less than a six month period. Adam has nearly replaced or fixed everything but the engine!!! Adam and his crew have the expertise, good nature, stellar customer service, and pure love of cars, that has not only turned me into a devout and loyal customer ...I consider him a trusted friend. Take your vehicle to him for any problem ...(even on Saturdays) and you can sleep easy knowing your vehicle is in good hands. I won't take my car anywhere else. Thank-you so much Adam (and crew) for taking care of me (and Christine:) ...see you again soon! I'm driving what feels like a brand new Rolls haha! YAY!

Our 2005 Mini was due for a regular service interval, which I now have done by Adam and his crew because the car is out of warranty. Upon inspection it turned out that new rear pads and rotors were also required. As usual the service was prompt and friendly, plus they were able to do the additional work right away. The massage lounger in the waiting area was also a nice touch!
